A. Mission

The Entertainment & Sports Community faces the absence of a designated body for dispute resolution, having to create a ground for recourse within the general system of justice. Our mission is to circumvent the issue thus created by providing accessible and rapid procedures of conflict resolution specific to the developing sporting committee of the nation and aiding its development in a conflict-free nature. We further aim to extend the benefits of alternate dispute resolution and provide the Indian entertainment and sporting community the opportunity to resolve conflicts in a structured yet comfortable manner. It serves a matter of great pride for the CESR to offer ADR options for the resolution of international commercial disputes between private parties. Developed by leading experts in entrainment and sport dispute settlement, the arbitration, mediation and expert determination procedures offered by the Centre are widely recognized as particularly appropriate for entertainment, sport and other disputes involving intellectual property.
